Week 2 Circle Challenge using Create A Critter

     For week 2 of the Challenge from the Circle message board we were asked to use Create A Critter. I needed to make a gift card holder.
    I chose the snake, with the birthday hat, and the ballon cut at  4".   I  used American Crafts City Park paper and off-white cardstock by Autumn Leaves.  Family Traditions flower punch .  Twinery twine and Basic Grey buttons.  Sentiment from Pink by Design`s Take the Cake.  Black pen and ink by Momento.

   It is hard to see by the picture but this card is shaped as a giftbag.  The flower punch at the side hides a slide-out for holding the gift card.

A Valentine's Card

This little raccoon from Create A Critter is so fun!! He is cut at 4" . The box he is sitting on is from My World cut at 3.5". I used Glossy accents for the eyes after I colored them with a black Momento pen and a white gel pen. I also penned accents on the racoon and the hearts with the white gel pen. Sakura Metallics in silver and pink also used on the note and hearts. Shimmerz paint for the raccoon's outline and highlights. The note, envelope and hearts are from the Paisley cart. The note and envelope are cut at .75" and 1". Sentiments are unknown wooden stamps stamped with momento black ink. The lips are stamped with Momento red ink. The hearts are cut at 2". 1/8th pink ribbon from my stash for the note pull. I pop-dotted the hearts, the envelope and note.The nails are Imaginesce I-rock metals. The cardstock is Bazzill and Bazzill Bling (pink). The paper is from Simple Garden and Girly Girl collections by Studio 8.

Happy Thanksgiving

As we head into the holiday weekend I wanted to make a little gift for my mom. Here is a Card/Teabag holder for Thanksgiving. I used Create a Critter for the chipmunk and My World for the tea box. The tag is from Tags Bags Boxes. I used little copper brads for the nails in the box. Copics and a white gel pen used to create dimension. Glossy Accents applied to the eyes to make them shine!! Stamp on the tag is Inkadinkado. Misc printed paper is from my stash and the cardstock is Bazzill. Thanks for looking . Have a great Thanksgiving!!
