A Challenge for the Circlets!

Hi Everyone!
I can not believe how the time has flown , my last post was a year ago! I am putting up a challenge and a prize in the 3rd annual  Canadian Swarm on the Cricut Circle messageboards.
As the days grow shorter and cooler I felt that making my mom a bouquet to brighten her fall table would make her happy. As a challenge to my circle family I am asking you to match me and make a family or friend happy. The Challenge is to make a home decor project using chipboard and Cricut cut flowers. This can be anything, a picture frame, a photo box or maybe a fridge magnet!

Here is my bouquet in a paper covered chipboard vase.

And here is the prize you can win for participating. This challenge is open to all Circle members. So good luck to everyone. Challenge close November 15th. Prize is drawn November 16th.

Canadian Swarm Challenge 2

For this challenge I  used my Imagine, which has sat neglected for some time now. Faux stitching on the cushion in black gel pen  is hard to see but it is there. I  cached all of the patterns to alter the little cat on a cushion from Best Friends. I love this option on the Imagine !!

Requirements:
•A card with a black cat
•Use 2 Cricut cuts
•Use the colors black, white and purple
•There must be stitching on the project (machine, hand or faux)

Challenge 6 Canadian Circle Swarm

Happy Sunday!!!
I was supposed to be cleaning my craftroom but got side-tracked and made this little acorn fridge magnet instead!! This was inspired by one of Michele Kovak's Circle Blog posts.
Challenge 6 asked to use at least one Cricut cut as well as something old and something new. I used the old Autumn Celebrations Cart. I used cardstock from the new Webster's Pages Sunday Picnic paper line. Also the " new to me" Martha's Chunky Glitter that I was so excited to buy at the beginning of the month at Kelowna's M's with a 40 % off coupon!! I had been looking all over for this glitter!
Thanks for checking up on me, Hugs!!

Challenge 1 for the Canadian Swarm

Hi Everyone!!
Today I would like to share the Halloween Lanterns I made with the help of my Cricut Expression 2 , Cricut Craft Room and my Gypsy. I did the design on Cricut Craft Room  but converted the file to Gypsy to cut as we are yet unable to link our " linked to Gypsy carts" to Cricut Craft Room. This worked fairly well for me!! I did this project for the first challenge for the Canadian Swarm on the Circle message boards.

The  challenge is to make a Halloween Decor Item. It can be a sign, banner, luminary, treat bag, etc. The sky is the limit.
Your project must include the following:
1) At least one Cricut Cut
2) The colour purple
Your project must include one of the following:
1) Glitter
2) Ribbon
3) Use of a cuttlebug folder.

I made 9 cubic shaped lanterns and attached them to a mini lights set I had for Halloween. The lights are little skulls. I used glitter, ink and  flocking to dress up my Cricut cuts. Washi tape was used to frame the silhouette inserts. This was a enjoyable project to do!
Sorry for the picture quality, I will try to take more pictures in daylight tomorrow. Have a great night!!

Good Morning fine people!

 1.  Steal an object from a family member, friend or neighbour ( for the faint of heart an object found in a thrift store will do in a pinch)
 2. Alter object using at least 2 Cricut cuts.
 3. Quietly and unnoticed return altered object to original owner/spot (if this is a thrift store find, gift it  unnoticed to someone ie. hang on neighbours fence porch, door etc..)
